Rodeo Soccer Club is the newest expansion team of the United Soccer League (USL), which is the largest and fastest-growing professional soccer organization in North America and one of the most successful professional soccer leagues in the world.
Rodeo Soccer Club is currently scheduled to premiere as part of the USL League One, sanctioned as a Division III team by the U.S. Soccer Federation. With the recent announcement of promotion relegation, this gives the club the opportunity to compete for promotion to USL Championship (Division II) and potentially even further to USL Division I in the future.
The USL recently revealed plans to begin promotion and relegation, a historic first for American sports. It is unclear yet when that will begin, but we will share news as it develops.
USL League One season runs from March through November each year.
The best thing about professional soccer is the passion of the fans.
