CELINA, TX — Rodeo SC is proud to announce the launch of five new youth programs serving families throughout Collin and Grayson Counties. The new programming is designed to give children and athletes of all ages and experience levels more opportunities to play, learn and enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, welcoming environment.
“Our goal is to make sure every child in our community has the opportunity to fall in love with the game, develop as a player and, most importantly, have fun,” said Rodeo SC Youth Academy Director Ben Clarvis. “These new programs give children more opportunities to get involved in soccer from an early age and provide pathways for them to continue developing as they get older. We want our club to be about more than just teams and games — we want to be a positive part of the community and a place where families feel they belong”
The new offerings include introductory soccer programs for children ages 2–7, giving young players the opportunity to develop foundational skills while building confidence and a love for the game. Rodeo SC will also introduce a Homeschool Skills Program, providing homeschooled athletes with structured soccer training focused on physical activity and technical development.
As part of its commitment to making soccer more accessible, Rodeo SC will offer a free skills clinic once a month, giving local players an opportunity to train with experienced coaches at no cost. The club is also expanding its camp offerings, with a number of new soccer camps across Collin and Grayson Counties designed to give players additional opportunities to develop their skills, stay active and have fun throughout the year.
“It is really important to us that our programming reflects the needs of our whole community,” said Clarvis. “Not every child has the same circumstances, schedule or pathway into sport, so we wanted to create opportunities for children of all ages, financial backgrounds and educational backgrounds, including those who are homeschooled. Whether a child is taking their first steps into soccer or simply wants somewhere to play, we want there to be a place for them. Sport has the power to bring communities together, and we want to make sure every child has the opportunity to be part of it.”
The launch marks another step in Rodeo SC’s commitment to building a strong soccer community throughout North Texas and creating accessible pathways for players of all ages and ability levels to participate, develop and enjoy the game.
